# Iniciando conversas via timeline!

### Enviando um template.

Para iniciar uma conversa ativa com um contato diretamente pela timeline, é necessário enviar um template, do tipo contact, pré-cadastrado e aprovado. 

**Certifique-se de que o contato não possui nenhuma conversa em andamento para realizar o envio.**

Na aba do contato, será adicionado o ícone do WhatsApp. Clique nele e selecione o número que irá realizar o disparo e template que deseja enviar.

Uma prévia do template, juntamente com as variáveis correspondentes, será exibida para que o atendente possa visualizar como a mensagem será entregue.&#x20;

Clique em enviar e **aguarde a resposta do contato**. Após a resposta, a conversa será direcionada para a caixa de entrada do atendente, permitindo que a tratativa prossiga.
